Eugenia O’Neal, a BVIslander who volunteers her time with several charities, is the author of From the Field to the Legislature: A History of Women in the Virgin Islands, and Just an Affair. Derek Lloyd has spent over 25 years in corporate insurance with experience in both broking (including AON in the UK), and underwriting. He joined the insurance division of AMS in the BVI in 2004

Diane Drayton

Diane Drayton is a communications professional and freelance writer. She has worked as a reporter and subeditor for a newspaper abroad and has held several public relations posts both in the British Virgin Islands and in the U.S.Virgin Islands. She is currently an Information Officer with the BVI Government.

Susanna Hennighan

Susanna Henighan is a writer and communications professional who has lived in the British Virgin Islands since 1999. She is also the author of Moon Handbook’s guide to the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.

Michael Spencer

Michael Spencer is the President of the Virgin Islands Banking Association, the Country Manager, and Head of Corporate Banking and Country Manager for First Caribbean International Bank in the British Virgin Islands.

Jennifer Potter-Questelles

Mrs. Jennifer Potter-Questelles has been involved in the financial services sector in the British Virgin Islands for over six years. She is currently the Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Services for the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVIFSC). She has represented the FSC and the BVI all over the world, participating in discussions on matters of critical importance to the BVI’s financial services sector. She is a native British Virgin Islander and she holds a Masters degree in Finance and a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems.

Sachkia Barnes

A native, of Guyana, Sachkia S.E. Barnes has been in the field of communications for over 10 years in the BVI. She currently heads the Public Relations and Outreach Division of the Government operated Water and Sewerage Department. Jane Bakewell

Jane Bakewell is a freelance writer who has made her home in the B.V.I. for over 12 years. Her articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines in the U.S. She has also worked as Associate Editor of the BVI Welcome Tourist Guide and is a regular contributor to the Limin’ Times.

Sjoerd Koster

Sjoerd is a student member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners(STEP) and has worked in the financial services industry since 1999. He studied International Business Management and was employed by ABN AMRO Bank (Amsterdam) from 1999 until 2006. He joined the Equity Trust Group in 2006 and is currently responsible for the business development for the Latin American market for both private client and international incorporations.

Nicholas Lane

Nicholas is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners(STEP) and has worked in the field of trust and estate management since 1986. He studied Politics, Economics and Law at university and was employed by Kleinwort Benson (Jersey) Trustees Limited from 1986 until 1999. In 1999, Nick joined Equity Trust (BVI) Limited as a manager in the fiduciary department and in September 2002 he assumed the responsibility for fiduciary business development.

Marsha Branch

Marsha is an entrepreneur living in Barbados. She is the Managing Director of Avant-Garde Media, a company that produces media content. Avant-Garde Media produces and owns the new business series The Investor.

Steve Fox

Steve Fox is the Managing Director and Senior Architect of OBM International’s British Virgin Islands office. He is a Leader in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited design professional and co-founder of the BVI Sustainable Living Network.

Edward Childs

Edward Childs is qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. He joined the British Virgin Islands office of Smiths Gore Overseas Limited in 1990 following training as a commercial surveyor with Savills in London. At Smiths Gore he has expanded the commercial sector of the firm, undertaking a range of instructions on hotel, marina and development properties throughout the Caribbean. Recently, he has been involved with development projects in the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla and Barbados.

Jenell Webb

A graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts, Jenell’s full time job is that of an engineer with Northrop Grumman Newport News, USA. He spends all of his spare time however with a camera in hand. He is passionate about digital imagery and hopes to begin drawing again soon from some of the dramatic images he captures. He is actively working on the next showing of his work to be held later this year in Virginia.
