We all know that women plus power equals success, but how do we access that power? To succeed in these challenging times require the power of knowledge, the power of communication , the power of leadership and the power of money.
Business BVI is proud to announce “Women of Power 2009”, a dynamic, power packed day of education and inspiration, designed specifically to meet the needs of women in this changing economy. If you are worried about the economy, the demands of your job are increasing, family life has become more challenging and your health is of major concern, this summit will give you some insight on how to effectively deal with these issues. The interactive presentations will also include topics on business and financial leadership, education and personal branding.
Our first Women of Power Summit which attracted over 200 women from the BVI, Puerto Rico, USVI and the continental United States, was held in November 2007 and was a resounding success. This year, we seek to bring the same level of professionalism and dynamism to the summit. Business BVI has conducted four seminars to date, all focusing on positive growth and development. We strongly believe that we must raise the aspirations of women, inspire them to take leading roles in their careers and in their communities and to gain insight into the realities of achieving their life goals. The world has become a small and very competitive village and so we are required to be on our best game at all times. We want to be instrumental in meeting the professional and social needs of our fellow citizens.
The one day summit, scheduled for Saturday, November 21, will once again feature a wide range of international and local speakers, entertainment, refreshments and lunch, fabulous prizes and our special goody bag.Early bird registration at a rate of $150.00 will begin on May 15th through June 30th, with the rate increasing to $175 thereafter. Special group and student rates are available.
Our program is designed specifically to address the needs of women, but men are welcome to register and attend the summit as well.
